Candidates pursing a career in law enforcement are increasingly evaluating factors beyond just salary when deciding which agency to apply to. This reflects a broader awareness of work-life balance, personal well-being, and career development opportunities. While developing ThinBlueLineCareers, we wanted to build on this concept to provide tools for both agencies and candidates.
1. For Agencies: Through an Agency Profile, agencies can select "Agency Tags", which includes things such as: K-9 Unit, Drone/UAS Team, Wellness Program, On-Shift Fitness, Peer Support, and more. This information, in addition to pay, promotional images/videos, recruiter information, and other agency details creates a quick summary of what the agency has to offer.
2. For Candidates: Our search allows you to use these Agency Tags to filter agencies and search for ones that match your career aspirations. Results are then sorted by location, showing you the agencies nearest to you. You want to find an agency with an on-site gym, bicycle unit, 12-weeks parental leave, and a college town - we can do that.
